Responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include:

 

Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Patient Services, you will work in the orthopedic subspecialty clinic to improve the continuum of care.

  • Independently provide specialized care within your area of expertise. 
  • Coordinate care with other hospital departments and the network, ensuring a comprehensive approach. 
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure child- and family-centered care. 
  • Exercise leadership by integrating evidence-based practices. 
  • Foster an environment of learning, research, and clinical development.

 

Qualifications

We would love to meet you if you have:

  • Master's degree in nursing with IPSSP certification – pediatrics
  • Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting or acute care
  • Asset: experience in orthopedic surgery or pediatrics 
  • Asset: experience in project management or program coordination
  • Critical thinking and good clinical judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and work as part of a team
  • Desire to work in an environment that encourages autonomy, professionalism, and versatility
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written

Positions available: 4 

Status: Temporary full-time (replacement) and permanent 

Shift: Day (Monday to Friday) 

Salary: $33.11 to $69.52/hour depending on experience
